Alejandro Cesar led two lives. The one as a successful disc jockey and emcee dreaming of stardom on American television. His other life spent looking for the next high, the next fix. Alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, anything to mask the emptiness and pain. What began as a search to fill the hole of a fatherless childhood turned into an everyday crippling addiction. His homelife turned to hell, his relationships strained to the breaking point, but still he pressed towards the dream of a career in television. He comes to America and six months later finds himself selling his wife’s jewelry to buy groceries. Destitute and desperate, he calls out to God.
